Information on effective strategies for implementing a safety and health management system in the workplace.

Introduction to Incident Investigation

An introduction to basic accident investigation procedures and describes accident analysis techniques.

Fall Protection

This course provides an overview of state-of-the-art technology for fall protection and current OSHA requirements.

Lockout/Tag-out

Describes the role and responsibility of the employer to develop and implement an energy control program, or lockout/tagout (LOTO) for the protection of workers.

Introduction to Evacuation and Emergency Planning

Covering the OSHA requirements for emergency action and fire protection plans.

Health Hazard Awareness

Covers common health hazards that are encountered in the workplace including chemical, biological, physical and ergonomic hazards. Students participate in workshops on evaluation and abatement of workplace health hazards.

Excavation, Trenching and Soil Mechanics

Focuses on the OSHA Excavation standard and on the safety and health aspects of excavation and trenching. Participants are introduced to practical soil mechanics and its relationship to the stability of shored and unshored slopes and walls of excavations.

Respiratory Protection

This four-day Respiratory Protection course covers the requirements for the establishment, maintenance, and monitoring of a respiratory protection program.

Fall Hazard Awareness for the Construction Industry

This one-day Fall Hazard Awareness course provides an overview of the identification, evaluation, and prevention of fall hazards in the construction industry.
