This one-day course is designed for private sector personnel who are interested in increasing their knowledge of industrial hygiene practices and related OSHA regulations and procedures. Topics include permissible exposure limits, OSHA health standards, respiratory protections, engineering controls, hazard communication, and sampling. Upon completion of this course, you'll be able to interpret requirements of OSHA health standards, recognize potential health hazards in the workplace, perform basic health hazard evaluation using OSHA sampling procedures, and list acceptable strategies for controlling hazardous conditions.
